About Us
Curly Kinks was created by owner & mixtress Monique Fordyce. When she decided to go natural back in 2008 she soon realized that the products that were out at that time did not quite do what she needed them to do for her hair where she could be 100% happy. So she started doing YouTube videos and testing products and shortly after that realized that she loved helping other natural women achieve their natural hair goals. Two years later she started researching how to make her own products and take her for the Lord & natural hair and make it into a brand that combines the natural herbs and oils of our beautiful earth with the fearfully & wonderfully made natural hair we all have. That's when Curly Kinks was created!
We take great pride in our products, the ingredients we use and the service we give! Products that moisturize, define your curls with out having flaky crunchy hair and most of all, affordability. A line of products that give beautiful soft touchable curls, shine, moisture & strength and most importantly a product line that doesn't have a bunch of chemicals & fillers.
All our products are made from scratch by hand. None of our products are made from ready made bases. Each ingredient & it's amounts are carefully chosen because of it unique properties & benefits to the hair & scalp. All our formulations and recipes have been fully tested to ensure safety to our customers. Our products are gentle and safe, eco friendly, vegan, and most importantly natural.
Curly Kinks products are formulated to be at the optimum PH for your hair. All our products have a PH between 4-6 and nothing more so your hair's cuticles stay in great shape and healthy. Having products with the right PH help to keep your hair moisturized because the cuticle is laying down and not wide open to let moisture out. Your hair will also shine more because of this.
